Amber's POV
I couldn't sleep. I've been waiting for Krystal's text all night long.
Maybe she went off to have shower when I replied her text, so that's why she couldn't reply.
Maybe her phone died out and she couldn't find her charger, that's why she didn't reply.
Or maybe she's overwhelmed with joy, that's why she can't reply.
I am trying to give myself possibilities, positive ones to at least make yourself not regretting sending her my confession, but it doesn't seem to work because I have been waiting for one whole night already. It is clear that she must be disgusted of me.
"Oh dear, what have I done? Now the only girl I love must have planned to distance herself from me already," I whispered to myself.
*Beep*
I heard a text message sound! Seriously?! Did I hear things or it's for real?!
Searching for my phone on bed, I was so so so damn nervous. I hope she replied something nicely.
When I found my phone, the sender number made me so unhappy.
"Why he send me text message so early?" I mumbled sadly to myself again.
Dude, let's have an early work out this morning!

'Sorry, I'm too tired. Maybe some other time.'
DUDE!! You're awake already?! I expected you to replied in another 2 hrs!
'Haha, yeah, it's just 4 in the morning. I don't usually wake up at this time'
Yeah... you always wake up at 6. I think you must have been up all nite! What have you been doing?! Watching porns!!!?? Amber, that's no good.
'Screw you. No, I didn't watch anything bad! I just feel woke up with a nightmare, ok?'
You had a nightmare? Dt usually hear that from you. Mind telling me about it?
'Maybe it wasn't really a nightmare. It was actually about you cuz you were killed when trying to woo Krystal. :D'
Damn you! That's obviously a nightmare!
'Haha, yeah, whatever. M back to sleep now.'
I threw the phone to another side of the bed, without bothering reading another beep that later came.
I tried to sleep when I know I'll be woken up by mum at 6 o'clock.
Actually, I shouldn't sleep. If I fall asleep, I could only sleep for 2 hours! That small amount of sleep will just kill my head with migraine.
I was walking, walking, and walking ... on one small string, hang up high in the air. It looks like I'm in a circus. Why am I here, walking in risk like this?!
At another edge, I could see Krystal clearly. She's waving and smiling at home.
'Amber!' she waved more, 'Amber!'
AMBER! AMBER! WAKE UP!
Huh?! Oh, it's just mum banging the door. So I eventually fell asleep huh.
'Amber, wake up! It's 6 already. I need to go to work early this morning, so hurry eat your breakfast. I made you early toast. I'll go now,' I heard her talking through the door.
'Yes mum! I know. I know. I'm awake now. Please have a safe ride to work. I love you!!!' I tried to shout the last part louder than usual. I earned some laughs from another side of the door.
My mum also love me being dorky all the time. She wonders how I can be so dorky when mum and dad are always serious. Well, I don't know too.
I quickly got off my bed, go to bathroom, doing my daily routine, blah blah blah.
Feel so lazy talking about my own habit of doing things.
I didn't dare to open my curtain today or else I'll see Krystal across the street in her own room.
As I am walking down the stairs, the door bell rang.
Obviously, there would be no one else but Krystal.
I prepared myself, fake a smile, and open the door.
and guess what?
'Oh hey... why are you here? with her?' I asked in shock.
'Dude, don't look at me like you're seeing a ghost. I know I might become more handsome, but it's still me Minho, your best buddy standing with Krystal who is also your best buddy,' Minho flashed a (disgusting) charming smile.
'Whatever, and why you're here?' I asked in a friendly. Well, I am always friendly, and easy going.
'He wanted to take me to school, but I told him I'll go with you. So, he just comes along, ' Krystal hasn't finished her sentences yet.
'To take both of you to school!' Minho finished with a grin.
'Haha, come in then because I need to have breakfast first,' I faked another smile, 'Krys, have you eaten yet? My mum made early toast you can eat with me,' I said while closing the door.
'Great! My mum left with just cereal in the fridge,' Krystal walked into the kitchen and grab plates to prepare the food for the 2 of us. How sweet~
'I could buy you regular breakfast, little K,' Minho offered a great offer.
'I prefer home made food. Who knows what the cook put into their food at the restaurants,' Krystal said before biting the slice of bread.
I sit myself next to her, eating my part. I don't feel like saying anything. The part I see Minho's here in my house, sitting right in front of Krystal and smiling like an idiot just makes me wanna puke.
I am also uncomfortable, you know, well at least not as uncomfortable as last night because last night I was waiting anxiously for Krystal to reply my text, but right now I am quite sure she just wanna be friends and tries not to be awkward with me.
That's a lot better. I would bang my head to death if she decided to just leave me because I'm gay.
A ride to school with Minho was disastrous. All i can here is just Minho blabbing about his adventourous life out there. I found Krystal listened well to him, and I just acted like I was interested in what he says too.
I, frankly, got no idea how to approach Krystal later, like during school time, or maybe when school is dismissed. I shouldn't be thinking about this, really, but I can't help.
Off at schoo, Krystal and I walk through the school's gate. Krystal quickly hook hands with me which caught me off gaurd.
'Let's go to ice cream after school,' she smiled at me, 'mum won't be at home any time soon tonight and we need to get out of school immediately after it ends because I don't want to see Minho waiting to take me home,'
'Oh, alright. No problem,' I just smiled awkwardly back.
'Hmm... you know you've been quiet all day...' she forrowed her eye brows, 'anything bothering you?'
How can you ask such naive question?
'Well, you know, last night that uhmm, I kinda, like, confessed!, I stuttered, 'so and uhm, u didn't really, uhm, replied... and ... I ... and I don't know what you think. Today you act so coolly around me,'
'I already replied, stupid,' she hitted my arm, 'didn't you see? oh, you must be sleeping then because I replied at around 4:30 this morning,'
'You did?! Let me check my phone first then, I let go of her arm and started to dig through my pocket for my phone, but she quickly pull back my arm and hugged it.
'You don't need to. I can just tell you right now. Let's start dating,' she smiled cutely at me.
OH MY GOD! SHE AGREEED!!!
THIS MUST BE THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
