University Love [Part 15]

Krystal didn't sense any weird reactions from Amber, therefore she continue to bubbly walk up the escalator.

Amber just followed suit. She was thinking of how her ex suddenly dumped her just like trash. She dumped her coolly and freely as if nothing have ever happened between them. To her, they had such a beautiful friendship, such a beautiful relationship, and such a beautiful moment together. Though it was just for 1 year and a half, Amber has always felt the strong affection toward her ex-girlfriend who she always run into at school everyday.
She knows she's stupid still feeling so attached toward that girl, but she just can't help it. She played games excessively, and work out excessively until she feels like collapsing, but she still can't forget her. Although she texted and told Victoria many times about her problem, she misses her ex still.

She then returned to reality when she heard Krystal calling her.
'Amber! It's really a movie theater! Omg, do we have time for movie?'

'Let's check it out then because I don't usually come watch movies unless it's with Vic,' Amber shrugged.

Walking to the counter, Krystal hooks hand sweetly with Amber, attracting many people attentions. Both of them look so cool and so foreign in this mall that people keep on whispering about them especially those high school girls.

Krystal is the one who notice the weird whispering around her, so she turns to ask Amber,

'What is everyone whispering about?'

'I think they are just whispering about us. You know, you dress so differently from them, that's why. And maybe, just maybe, I look so cool that those girls start fan-girling over me,' Amber laughed.

'Dork, don't be too proud of yourself. I can't find anything cool about you ,' Krystal said.

When they reach the counter, they were asked of which movie they would like to see.

'We still have this one, starting in 13 minutes, and there are still plenty of seats to choose,' the ticket seller told Amber and Krystal.

'Do you want to see that one?' Amber asked.

'It looks interesting, so... let's just see it!' Krystal grinned. She actually just want to see movie. Any movies is fine for her.

'Alright, so 2 tickets, please,' Amber said taking out her wallet.

'Would you like a couple seat? or just regular seat?' the seller asked.

'Oh..., uhm...,' Amber is still thinking.

'Couple please,' Krystal spoke to the seller, 'why do you have to think for so long?? Seriously, couple seats are always better than individual ones,' Krystal scolded Amber in front of the seller who is giggling over the cute couple.

'Please enjoy yourselves,' the girl spoke with a smile while handing the tickets to the girls.

After they bought the tickets, it's time for pop corn! Krystal offered to buy pop corns and coke since Amber already paid for the movie tickets. Their couple seats are far at the back, designed as sofa which accompanied with 2 soft cushions. They sat down quietly and place their drinks on both sides of the sofa.
Krystal then sips her drink before exclaiming that it isn't hers. She ordered sprite not Coke.

'Amber, that drink must be mine, and this must be yours. It's coke not sprite, so give that one to me,' Krystal ordered Amber.

Without further thinking, Amber just passed the coke to Krystal in exchange with Krystal's drink. She quickly sucks her drink, but she feels that the straw was already wet.

'Did you drink this already?' Amber asked in shocked because she never shares food or drink with anymore except her family.

'Uhm, yes, that's why I know it's not my sprite,' Krystal replied normally. She even thinks Amber is weird asking such question. She doesn't know that Amber is concern about her stuffs. She doesn't like sharing anything especially something to do with oral contact.

'Why didn't you tell me?! It's like I've sucked your saliva!' Amber exclaimed in hint of anger. She really can't take it. She feels like it's so dirty because she doesn't what germs Krystal carried in her mouth.

'Huh? Why are you mad?!' Krystal exclaimed back since she doesn't like anyone to shout at her especially when she doesn't know what fault she made.

'It's just, just, I don't know! Do you always share your straw with everyone?' Amber asked in amazed tone. She can't believe the younger girl isn't concerned about sharing the straw.

'What's the problem with doing that? I don't see anything wrong with that although I don't do that so often,' Krystal answered quickly, feeling mad at Amber too for being mad at her without a reasonable reason.

'Don't you know how many types of germs are in your mouth?' Amber scolded in a stern voice.

'Oh I see, so you thought I'm full of germs? Huh? Is that what's in your mind? Alright, I will try to stay as far away as possible from you, miss cleanie clean girl!' Krystal replied in a sarcastic way because she also doesn't like the idea of Amber thinking that she's full of germs. She is so offended at how Amber shouted at her.

'I didn't mean it that way! It's just you need to keep your stuffs at personally. You shouldn't share your things with others especially things that you put in your mouth,' Amber explained herself. Partly, she doesn't want Krystal to be mad at her. She never wants to make anyone mad.

'Whatever you say,' Krystal hmpf at Amber before turning to the screen, ignoring Amber.

Amber, knowing the situation, just stayed silent and watches the movie that has just started. Amber doesn't drink her coke at all. She still find it disgusting, so she just leave it there and watch the movie without even eating the pop corm because Krystal is holding the pop corn, so trying to avoid any more mad convos, Amber just continue focusing on the movie.

Unlike Amber, Krystal isn't focusing on the movie. She's focusing on Amber. She only wants to know if Amber drink that coke or not, and to her surprise, Amber didn't drink it. Krystal feels so down and offended.

Does she think I am that dirty? I do brush my teeth everyday, 3 times a day. What could go wrong with sipping the drink for only one time? Krystal thought. At the thought of it, she is at urge of crying. No one has ever done that to her. She feels like she's rejected.

Krystal's sad face goes unnoticed by Amber. This makes Krystal feel even worse because Amber doesn't care about her. Not that she has any strong affection for Amber, it's just Amber has been so good to her that she thought of Amber as really close friend already.
Both of them keep on walking silently without any real directions.
Finally, Amber finds the courage to ask Krystal.

'So, I think we should go home? I'll take you home, OK?' Amber asked, looking at Krystal hoping Krystal would reply.

'No, it's fine. I'll just call my brother. I don't want to spread my germs to you,' Krystal replied coldly before taking out her phone, dialing her brother's number.

'We need to talk. I want to make everything clear,' with that Amber quickly snatched Krystal's phone and ended the call causing Krystal to glares at her.

'Who do you think you are?! You got no rights, taking my phone away from me without my permission!' Krystal half-shouted at her.

Amber responded with a laugh, a loud good laugh that can turns people's heads to her. Seeing people looking at them, Krystal tries to walk fast to a toilet nearby since she doesn't want to others to think she's weird or anything. Amber just follows Krystal suit.

'Why did you laugh? It was so embarrassing!' Krystal asked, hoping to receive a satisfied answer.

'Because we are even now! You shouted at me for some weird reasons. I don't find snatching a phone from its owner a wrong thing! but you were so mad at me. Hahaha, so yeah, we are even now,' Amber is still laughing.

'And I seriously don't find it funny,' Krystal stares the hole out of Amber's head.

'Oh come on, Krys. It is! Haha, alright. Let's make a deal, OK? From now on, I won't snatch your phone from you, and you can't share your straw with me. Sounds good?'

'Fine, sounds good enough. I will not to spread germs to you,' Krystal rolled her eyes.

'It's not about you spreading. It's about you're being infected. What if someone has hepatitis, you might also get infected. The virus moves fast via salivar,' Amber tries to explain.

Krystal slowly agrees and nods in response. She knows about these kind of things too, but she thinks all of her friends are healthy. Though she knows a lot, she can be a bit naive sometimes.

'So, since you get what I mean, I can take you home right? Perhaps as an apology for shouting and acting dramatically,' Amber smiled dorkily, convincing Krystal to agree.

The younger girl just smiles and nods.
